Position: Backend Web Developer
Location: Remote (India)
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize database structures using MySQL / MariaDB to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Develop robust web applications using PHP8 and either Laravel or Symfony frameworks.
- Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces by leveraging HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, focusing on building a minimal viable interface.
- Utilize Git for version control, ensuring code integrity and collaboration within the development team.
- Enhance system performance and automation through Linux-based shell scripting (bash).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure project alignment.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in database design and optimization with MySQL / MariaDB.
- Strong command of PHP8 and experience with Laravel and/or Symfony frameworks.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and proficiency in shell scripting (bash).
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
